The Yoga of Aloneness...  So, I have been "single" for well over a year. And I don't mean the kind of single where I am dating and hoping to meet the "one".  Rather, I have been choosing to take this time in my life to put my energy into cultivating Self-love and Becoming who I was all along...my, The One.   I have been taking the time to be honest about what I desire to create in this chapter of my life, what truly fills my cup, what pulls at my heart, and what direction I am called to walk toward, for me.   This has been a time of healing, reflection, shedding, letting go and surrender.  It has been a time of "holding the pose" and breathing into the discomfort.   It has been an opportunity to strengthen my intuition my self-trust, and to deeply and compassionately love my wholeness in my aloneness.  
I have learned so much about myself and my growth has been exponential. It is a coming home to self, a return to love, to the parts of myself that got lost somewhere along the way.   I have come to realize that I had fallen into some situations and relationships, rather than consciously choosing them.  How did I not know this sooner?  This is common for most of us, particularly if you have been raised in a family where your foundational needs of unconditional love, safety, security and nurturing have not been fully met.   Putting other's first and not having my own needs met had been my conditioned comfort zone.  I am happy to say that I am no longer that person.  Although the roadmap of what's to come isn't fully clear, I can say with certainty that I will consciously be in the driver's seat.  What I do know for sure is that it's going to be a sweet ride...
